PUBLIC LANDS GRAND OPENING

To introduce new and existing customers to Public Lands’ mission of celebrating and protecting public lands for all, Field Scout produced a Grand Opening celebration at their new Woodbury, MN, store.

The Grand Opening weekend included local vendors and nonprofit partners, with a spotlight on artists and neighborhood businesses. Gear recycling, a scavenger hunt, and interactive art all highlighted Public Lands’ commitment to community connection and inclusivity.

CLIENT: PUBLIC LANDS

AGENCY: FIELD SCOUT

ROLE: ART DIRECTOR

We custom-fabricated a kit that was designed to be compact and collapsible. That way, the Public Lands team could re-use the assets beyond the grand opening at other small community events.

Attendees received gifts throughout the event, including stickers, patches, and bandanas screen-printed on site, all with custom illustrations celebrating Minnesota wildlife.

Multiple interactive touch-points were integrated to highlight Public Lands’ commitment to community, connection, and inclusivity, including paint-by-numbers, a chalk mandala, and fill-in-the-blank chalkboards.
